A beautiful poem my 10 year old daughter wrote for her Uncle, that will be engraved on his headstone:

 

Forever on earth peace shall gain.
Love and hope all the same.
Older than a rock she stands,
The American way, freedom and grace.


With history and bravery, a soldier I stand.
I love my country forever.

Today and tomorrow, I am a hero
I never asked to be
But I am proud to be

To fight for my country, forever.
Though I died I died free.
